Osprey Tactical Training and Solutions instructors are certified and licensed through the American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) and all medical classes are taught using this curriculum. All of these courses are offered as a separate period of instruction, however some courses can be combined and taken at the same time. Please contact us for course dates or to set up group training. Basic First Aid, CPR, and AED
This course is designed to give students comprehensive training in emergency care, including basic first aid, CPR and how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED). This course builds the skills and confidence to respond to the most typical life-threatening emergencies.
Advanced First Aid
Designed for non-EMS responders including government, corporate, industry, lifeguards, security personnel, law enforcement, corrections personnel and other individuals who are not EMS or healthcare providers but desire or require certification in Advanced First Aid.
Basic Life Support
Trains healthcare providers and professional responders how to recognize a life-threatening emergency, how to provide basic life support, and what to do in case of an airway obstruction or choking.
Advanced Bleeding Control
This course is designed to provide detailed information on the control of severe external bleeding, including the use of direct pressure, commercial pressure bandages, tourniquets and packed dressings. This course is also designed as an every day, real world scenario course where we will discuss what you should carry with you every day, how to stock your home, vehicle, travel first aid kits etc.
Helps students understand what bloodborne pathogens are, how to reduce risks of exposure for themselves and others and what steps will be taken if exposure occurs.
Child and Babysitting Safety
Delivers fundamental information in babysitting, including proper supervision, basic care giving skills and safety and injury prevention.
Emergency Medical Response
Provides non-EMS responders, including government, corporate, law enforcement, security personnel, and corrections personnel with a level of training comparable to a professional emergency medical responder.
Focuses on administering emergency oxygen to individuals, emergency oxygen delivery systems and integrating pulse oximetry.
High Performance CPR
This course is designed to close the gap between recommended guidelines and actual performance through high-quality skills, stressed practical exercises and a practiced team approach.
Pediatric First Aid, CPR, And AED
This course provides an ideal training solution for schools, child care providers, youth sports coaches, and others required to learn how to respond to medical emergencies involving children.
Wilderness Emergency Care
Emergency care training for outdoor activities and settings ranging from easy day trips to challenging and technical activities, including wilderness rescue.
Wilderness First Aid
This course is designed as a comprehensive course for instructors with wilderness experience who are certified to teach CPR, AED and basic first aid.
Use and Administration of Epinephrine Auto-Injectors
This course covers use and administration of epinephrine auto-injectors, the legal considerations for administering and how to prepare for an anaphylactic emergency.
